How NZPU collects, uses and stores the information in a meet director application.
What we collect and why
NZPU collects your name, contact details, town/city and region, an optional NZPU membership number, an optional club and website, your relevant experience and qualifications, and any details you give about a proposed venue, date or the support you need. NZPU uses these details to verify your contact information, assess your experience, discuss any requirements and decide whether to approve meet director access. NZPU does not collect identity documents, date of birth, medical information or criminal history as part of this application.
Who can see an application
The applicant and authorised NZPU administrators. Internal review notes recorded by NZPU administrators are never shown to the applicant and are never included in an email. Applications and internal review notes are not published or included in any public competition page.
Corrections and withdrawal
An applicant who has verified their email can respond to a request for information, or withdraw an application, from their application status page. Contact NZPU to request a correction to details already submitted.
Retention
The retention period for application information, and the monitored contact address for privacy questions, are configured by NZPU and published here once approved.
